My First Leapad Book: Vroom Vroom, On the Go
Review by Nora Barrett "mammaw" : Matthew's Christmas Present
I got this as a Christmas present for my grandson who loves anything with a motor or firetrucks. He now can use the leappad by himself, he is 3 1/2. The game part is still a little difficult for him but it may last longer this way. The price was okay and the book and cassette was in good shape.

Review by Jazzmama "JazzMama" : Not the best title so far...
There are several good leap frog titles, but this one doesn't live up to expectations, especially given the subject matter. The pages have an adequate number of games, but, for example, the page with the fire truck doesn't have enough detail (i.e., should give names of parts AND make a noise...that was kind of disappointing). There is also a race car that has an air filter that just makes noise, but doesn't say what it is, a gas pump that says "gas' on it, but the voice says "fuel" -- does anyone really say "I'm going to put 'fuel' in my car???" Not a big deal but it's a little off-putting.
